Lavender - Spike is very different from Lavender - True. Its blooming season is later and it grows in relatively warm and windless climates. It was used as an antidote to the deadly bite of the poisonous asp which shared its habitat. Lavender spike essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its analgesic and healing properties to relieve minor pain and burns.
